As the photographing for the calendar yesterday finished at an early hour, I went shopping with Kame

Half way through, we ate chicken curry

In the end it was quite a hectic shopping session

We both purchased Western-style clothes, watches and honey

I purchased my watch for (playing) survival game, Kame for running

If we use the honey for sampling food, there's quite a richness in them (the flavour), it suits things like pancakes and toast

Kame bought sunglasses too

On the way back he accompanied me until we reached my house

It was fun and inexcusable

The feeling was it had been a long time since we eliminated stress through shopping

Well then changing the subject, KAT-TUN's new song has been ranked 1st

Reporter : The music from the beginning of CHANGE UR WORLD is very strong. It has been a while that KT do not try a "Band" style music. Why you are choosing this song? What is your thought when you first heard it?

Koki : I always think with a principle whenever I choose the songs, which is the song should be catchy and a KT-style.

Maru: Because it is the theme song for Going! Sports＆News, we took quite a long time to choose the songs. Should we continue the style of ‘GOING!’ or should we change to other style.

Kame: Yes. We thought of using Remember as the theme song, since Remember’s style is quite similar to "Going!’

Koki: In the end, we’ve chosen "Change Ur World", as "Remember" is a nice song too, so we've decided to put it in limited edition.

Kame : I found it unexpectedly that Nakamaru was the one who insisted to use KT style music as theme song. He is the one who wants to do KT style.

Reporter: Why you found it unexpectedly?

Kame: Most of the fans think that Nakamaru is not that ‘Rock’ and he is the one who lack of KT style member, I think? However, he was the one who wants all of us to get back to KT style music. I found it surprise.

Maru: Yes. I think we haven’t sung any KT style music recently. So I think it is the time for us to get back on track.

Koki: No matter what we are singing, we are KAT-TUN. But "Change ur world" is really a KT style song.

Junno: The first impression of the song was....the song does not really fit into KT style. However, when all of us sing it with microphone, we wanted to make it to be KT style music.
When we first heard the demo of the song, the "A major" was pretty low and it is lowering the whole emotion of the song. But ever since we start to record the song, we still think that this is belong to KT, it is a KT style song.

Kame: I felt the same way too! At first, I was thinking "Is it really a KAT-TUN style music?" however after the recording with all members, it became KT style.

Ueda: I was thinking should we change the A major in the beginning.
　
Reporter: Everyone is having different opinion towards the songs.

Junno: That is because I was suggesting to change the music key in the beginning.

Ueda: But to me, I think it's good to keep it as A major.

Maru : My personal opinion is B major is the best

Junno : I see

Maru: The music itself is awesome!

Ueda: A major is leading the B major tone !

Maru: If that’s the case, SABI is weakening.

Junno : No, I think SABI is outstanding enough. Change ur world is a very great song as it can mix five different styles ( 5 different style of KT members)into 1 song.

Reporter: I believe after listening to "Change Ur World", a lot of people think that the song is born to be KAT-TUN music?

Kame: Yes. Our juniors told us "This is what we want to see for KT style" The juniors even think that it is KAT-TUN style music. However, I actually not sure what KAT-TUN style is.

Maru: It is a feeling that makes you want to dance. I think dancing is KT’s fascination, it is more stronger and tense than Going!

Kame: I guess so. At family seats ( in the concert) the kids were yelling "Kame" and dancing at the same time. You need to wear the ear plug for our concert!
** According to the interview, Kame was imitating the kids wearing ear plug in the concert, so apparently the kids wear the ear plug to KT concert because KT’s music is too loud**

Reporter: I think it is because of loud music.

Kame: (laugh). That’s KAT-TUN. Johnny san even told us "YOU concert is too loud!" But there is nothing we can do. We are KAT-TUN, and that’s us! ( he is referring to the loud music is KAT-TUN style)

Junno: I think it is something that we should happy about.

Kame: What’s wrong with you? You looks like "Sempai" with this comment (laugh)

Maru: This single contains all new songs, it is like mini album. There are 3 different editions, there is Ueda’s solo , NTT’s...

Junno: This time, every song can be released as separate singles, so the content of the single is rich and strong.

During the interview, KT were talking about the how they recorded the songs.
Kame is recently hooked with manga- One Piece .
Kame was being asked “ What would you like to challenge in future?”
He hoped that five of them can do the drama together!

Describe the Nakamaru household in one kanji
The “ka” of “kajitsu” (fruit). We really eat fruit a lot. When there’s some kind of fruit on the table, everyone always eats what’s been put out without being particular. Even when I return to my parents' home now, they have some kind of fruit or other. The fruit I love best are strawberries. I really eat them a lot. They’re rich in vitamin C and good for your health!

Within the Nakamaru household you are the XX-child
My position is quite weak. You know, although my own family is like that too, there are a lot of women among my relatives. Even though my father speaks up as well, maybe I should say I’m soothed by my surroundings, or maybe I’m embarrassed… When women get together, they’re really strong, right. Because I have no say in things whatsoever and even when I return home my position is weak… I suppose I’m the “child that feels small”.

Among the members who is the most like the “head of the family”?
Hmmm… Well, it might be me. (laughs) Maybe it’s a matter of age after all? Since I’m the oldest. Everyone is quite reckless, you know, compared to me. So maybe I should say I take a lot of pride in doing stuff like stopping the members from being reckless, when we’re talking or something, and seeking for points of compromise and so on… I often take a neutral position. Well, because I’m like that, maybe I can see things objectively. For better or worse, there’s also that point. However, unlike when I’m with my family, I definitely… have got a say in things.

If you made an appearance in a family drama, which part would you like to play?
Definitely the eldest son! If I wouldn’t be an only child, either a younger brother or a younger sister would be fine. On the contrary, acting that I have an older brother or sister might be difficult. Because I don’t have any older siblings myself, I’m not used to it. Although I’m really used to being surrounded by women. (laughs) So I can’t remember playing boys’ games, but I can remember baking cookies. Thinking like that, a part that’s close to life is of course easy and fun to do. Otherwise, maybe the part of a youth that gets taken away during the war? The mother and sister sending that youth off… I’d also like to try doing something like that.

What’s new
Thanks to the Wink Up message board, I managed to exchange addresses with director Kojima (Hideo). I met director Kojima, who I really wanted to see, the other day. When I met him for real, he was a really openhearted person and exactly like I imagined him. Isn’t it a long time ago I was this excited about meeting someone? Because I was so energized when I thought “Oh my god! It’s really him!” But, because I was too nervous I couldn’t properly convey my enthusiasm, so after this I’ll have to let him know by e-mail.

Q1 : What is your favourite country in the world?
Japan. Isn’t it obvious?! The best country is the one you live in!! Probably the 2nd one is Hawaii.

Q2 : Your best 3 country you want to see?
1st place: America, or better, Hawaii. 2nd place: India. I want to see its culture. 3rd place: China. It’s the country that has force right now.

Q3 : What’s your favourite dish in the world?
White rice with miso soup. I like potatoes most among all the ingredients. As side dish? Uhm, if there’s fish, it’s ok.

Q4 : What is the foreign dish you are able to cook?
Since omuraisu is called “western food”, is it ok for “foreign dish” too? (laughs) My pride is boiled eggs!

Q5 : The first foreign country you went to?
Hawaii. During Jr. time we went there for work[*], and I enjoyed myself so much that I though “It’s good I entered in the Johnny’s company”.

Q6 : The greatest happening you lived when you were in a foreign country?
Not long time ago, when I went to Korea for work, I realized at the airport that I had forgot the passport, so I returned at home to pick it up, and I take another flight (cries).

Q7 : The most important memory you have about a trip outside for work?
I enjoyed myself every time, wherever I went, but I guess it’s Hawaii. Because I’ve got memories about how we were extremely noisy during our Jr. days.

Q8 : The best trip in a foreign country you did privately?
Macao was good too, but the best was Hawaii. I could feel the untouched nature, that is, volcanoes and the true charm of nature.

Q9 : The souvenir that made you happier?
It may be me, but when I bought clothes of a brand not yet selling in Japan, and then after 2 months they landed to Japan, I felt a bit of sense of superiority. (laughs)

Q10 : What do you absolutely carry with you during a trip?
Sandals. They’re comfortable when appropriate shoes are troublesome, for example when I go from the hotel to the supermarket!

Q11 : A memory or a challenge in Asia you want to make from now on?
Even the concerts outside Japan we’re doing this time are a challenge. First of all, now I want to enjoy with everyone the concerts in Korea and Taiwan!

Q12 : “When I’m travelling, I suck in this”: what is it?
Uhm, to me food is absolutely indifferent… Even the culture, I’m “when in Rome do as the Romans do”… So, nothing particulary.

Q13 : What’s the fact that occurred when you went outside Japan with the members that you remember most?
When, in the middle of the night, we did a sudden acrobatic competition on the shore. I did the filming, since I can’t do acrobatics.

Q14 : The world news that right now you’re interested in?
Of course the World Cup! It’s a feast for the whole world. I think it’s a chance for South Africa to develop the economy too.

Q15 : Tell us the plan of the journey you suggest to do!
Personally my first suggestion is Hawaii Island, but if you want to enjoy shopping too, it may be good Oahu Island too.

YEAH... GIVE ME MORE... GIVE ME MORE~~~ (JUST READ THE TRANSLATION AND IGNORE MY PERVERTNESS)

NAKAMARU YUICHI'S MESSAGE ON CUW

In 'CHANGE YOUR WORLD's video clip, to make the instrumental parts a bit better, we added dancing parts. So, this time I think the dancing during the intervals have become the highlights.

In the limited edition cd, the second (song) included is 'REMEMBER', as always, it's a song with a different flavour, so having 'CHANGE UR WORLD' with this different (song) I think is good.

This time, because Taguchi said 'beat box is a must!', I gladly participated in Taguchi's solo song as well. The recording was done completely under Taguchi's instructions, things like the beat box as well, and it felt like something different from what I always do by myself.

That’s why I want to listen to things like that beat box part too. Also Taguchi, Koki and myself, the three of us did a song, and because it's not something we usually do, it's rare (for us), it was extremely fun. We tried doing the song itself as cool as possible, so please do listen to it.

'GIVE ME, GIVE ME, GIVE ME' in the regular edition is my favourite song. Though probably just because I think 'ain't the dancing cool~'. Because the vocals are rhythmical, it's also nice to listen too.

Since we heard the demo of this song, (we thought) when would be good to take it out, and it was done discreetly at the time of release. Eventually we chose the timing at our own discretion, and I think everyone wanted to hear it released quickly, and it's just included as a coupling (song) for this regular edition, but even so, it's a song that everyone in KAT-TUN is pleased with.

For this time's single, personally the (my) image in the filming of 'CHANGE UR WORLD's video clip making, as I prepared the second round of the game corner project, I hope you enjoy that.

Honestly, while I received help from staff-san, I thought up every little aspect of it by myself. Because thinking about and comparing when I did the first time in 'Going!', I really wanted everyone's advice too. To lead onto the third time. I think I did it well but… From here too I want to arrange (more) fun corners.

Starting 'CHANGE UR WORLD', and the other songs too, everyone was particular about the small aspects (of the songs), what we created is (in this) one (release). I hope our work will be enjoyed by everyone.
